BARELY OUT OF COLLEGE

I went with my girlfriends for a Saturday matinee downtown this past weekend.  We decided we were letting our age catch up with us.  We are barely out of college and it seems all we do anymore on the weekends is stay at home.  We are missing out of all the fun to be had on the weekends.  We used to go club hopping but now it seems pointless and tiring.  (Did I say tiring?)  It’s like we all of a sudden out grew all the things we used to find exciting and fun.  We loved the theatre and always got the best Wicked tickets that we could afford.  We loved going to ballgames and planning weekend getaways that we needed a couple days to recoup from.  But these days, we barely get together to go out for dinner anymore.  We had a good time going to the movies together, and have decided that that’s about all we feel like doing for another couple weeks.  In looking at our situation, we have found that we enjoy being in our homes more than in the streets.  And in thinking about it, we are always at each other’s house or apartment.  That will do.
