THE TERM PAPER

I recently did a term paper discussing the differences between law practices from state to state. I decided to focus primarily on personal injury laws. I looked at the differences between personal injury attorneys in Missouri, somewhere that I’ve never been, and personal injury attorneys in New York, where I have lived for about 4 years. It was a difficult decision to make, to explore law in a place that I’ve never experienced first-hand and compare it to a place where I have a great deal of real world experience. It was a challenge, but I spoke with my professor about it and we both decided the fact that it was a very ambitious project for me to undertake would make it an excellent learning experience for me. I spent countless hours in the library, and I downloaded literally hundreds of files about Missouri’s law practices. The resulting paper was, in my opinion, brilliantly put together. My professor agreed and actually used it as one of his top ten examples of how to properly prepare a term paper for his class. I graduated about a year and a half ago, and even now my paper is still on his website.
