It is the last day of school for this year and I just got the supply lists from my kid’s private school as to what they will need for the coming school year.  Each list is two pages long.  I thought as long as I was paying such a high tuition, my children would get the school supplies they need from the school.  Was I ever wrong!  I think I will have to file bancarrota if I buy everything they need on these lists.  Good thing I have all summer to spread the cost of these supplies.  Even then, it will put a big dent in my budget.  I am happy with the education my children are getting from this private school.  It is a good school especially because in the morning, classes are held in English and in the afternoon the classes are held in Spanish.  So my children can learn proper English in school and still keep up their family language of Spanish.  It is important to us that our children speak our native language but know it is equally important for them to learn proper English as long as we are living in the United States.  I feel they are getting the best of both worlds by going to this private school.
